Steps to make to make Gluten-free Malva, Dairy-free Milk Tart Pudding

  1. Malva Pudding Layer:
  2. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  3. Whisk Sugar, Egg, Margarine and Jam till well combined.
  4. Mix in Milk, Vanilla and Vinegar
  5. Sift in Flour and Baking Soda, and mix well.

  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30min.

  15. Heat 450ml milk (do not boil) and remove from heat.
  16. Whisk Eggs and Sugar together.
  17. Pour a small amount of the milk on to egg mixture and mix well. This process is called Tempering
  18. Add egg mixture to the milk and mix well.
  19. Whisk 50ml Milk, Corn Flour until there is no more lumps.
  20. Place milk back onto the heat and slowly add flour mixture whisking continually.
  21. Keep whisking until nice and thick.
  22. Remove from heat, whisk in Vanilla and Margarine.
  23. Pour millk mixture over malva pudding.
  24. Dust cinnamon over the milk tart.
  25. Cover well and refrigerate until set (overnight).
    Serve cold or room temperature
