  1. Prepare ingredients in two bowls. Place A in a mixing bowl and B in one separate bowl.
  2. A - Using a hand mixer, beat A until well-combined but not creamy. Stop the mixer.
  3. B - Combine ingredients B well.
  4. Assembling the cookies - Add B to A in batches. Mix the first batch with hand mixer using the lowest setting. Stop the mixer. Keep adding B until a soft dough is formed. This dough is slightly on the dry side. Shape dough into small round discs or as desired. If it is too crumbly to hold its shape, add a teaspoon of oil or melted butter. Coating shaped cookies with nestum cereal flakes before baking is optional. Place halve almond on the shaped cookies or decorate as desired.
  5. Bake cookies at 150 C for 10-13 or until cookies are lightly browned at the sides. Remove from the oven and leave hot cookies on the cookie tray to cool for few minutes. Note: hot cookies are very soft but will firm up once cooled.
