  9. 1/4 cup caroot puree
  10. 1/4 cup kashmiri red chilli
  11. 1 pinch termaric powder
  12. as needed Salt
  13. 1 bowl All of these mix well in
  14. For white:-
  15. 1.5 cup idli batter
  16. as required Idli batter
  17. as needed Salt
  18. as required Add salt and mix it well
  19. For green:-
  20. 1 cup idli batter
  21. 1/2 cup spinach puree
  22. 2 green chillies paste
  23. as needed Salt
  24. 1 bowl All of these mix well in

Instructions to make to make Try colour layered idli

  1. Take small 3-4 bowls and grease all bowls with little oil, Then first add 2 tbsp green batter and keep it into Idli streamer and let it stream for 3 minutes.
  2. Now add 2 tbsp white batter, then steam it again for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Now add 2 tbsp of saffron color and steam it for 7-8 minutes.
  4. Switch off flame and check it with thoothpic, if toothpick is clean that means our Idly is cooked. Cool it and take out idlis from bowls.
  5. Tri-colour layered idli is ready to serve, Garnish with sesame seeds and mustard seeds tadaka. Serve tri- colour idli with coconut Chutney.
